Will It Be Bright? is a sunlight analysis tool for home buyers. This policy covers both the website (willitbebright.com) and the Chrome extension.

What we collect

Almost nothing. Specifically:

• Property addresses you look up are sent to OpenStreetMap (geocoding) and the Overpass API (building data) to calculate sunlight scores. We don't store these addresses on any server.
• Cached results are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. This never leaves your device.

We do not collect names, emails, passwords, payment information, location data, browsing history, or any personally identifiable information.

Third-party services

• OpenStreetMap Nominatim — geocodes addresses into coordinates. Their privacy policy.
• Overpass API — retrieves building footprint data near the property.
• Google AdSense — serves ads on the website (not the extension). Google may use cookies for ad personalization. Google's privacy policy.

Cookies

The website uses cookies only through Google AdSense. The Chrome extension does not use cookies.

Data sharing

We don't sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties. Property addresses are sent to OpenStreetMap and Overpass solely to calculate sunlight scores.

Children's privacy

This service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. That's it.
